Mersey Point Fish Products Ltd. is a family run business. It was started in 1981 by Cornelis and Anne Mutsaers shortly after they immigrated to Canada from the Netherlands with their three sons. The business started as a home-based cottage industry in Mersey Point, on the outskirt of Liverpool, Nova Scotia. Thus the company name Mersey Point Fish Products.

Today, over 25 years later, their son Robert and his wife Pamela operate the business out of a modern 6000 square foot processing plant along with a team of dedicated employees. The plant is now situated in Port Mouton about twenty kilometers 'down the road' from Mersey Point. 

Despite this growth and modernization, the Mutsaers' business retains the special character that it started with - friendly and personal service, attention to detail, and an emphasis on careful processing of quality products. This commitment ensures a premium product on a consistent basis.

Robert and Pamela Mutsaers are both deeply involved in the day to day operation of the business. They are committed to its success, which is measured by your satisfaction and continued enjoyment of their products.
