Simple Mackerel Delight
My cousin who was just visiting put the mackerel fillets on a plate, let the fish come to room temperature, drizzled it with a few drops of lemon and a fair bit of walnut oil, sprinkled chopped walnuts and garnished with parsley. Beautiful to look at and it was delicious on plain crackers.
